The IDNV forms a network

The IDNV system is a unique service network for music publishers, retailers, libraries and all those interested in music. The core of the IDNV is a large database containing complete and up-to-date catalogues of publishers from different countries.

The IDNV was developed on the sector's initiative to create a joint system offering advantages to all those involved. In this way, the sector's official sheet music database was established, in close cooperation with the German Music Publishers Association (DMV) and the German Music Retailers Association (GDM), as well as with retailers and publishers.

The IDNV guarantees a standard for communication and information on an international level. The IDNV is available in an English, French and German version; Retailers, publishers and libraries of many countries take part. The IDNV service has been set up for the UK market with the partner project with the Music Publishers Association, London (MPA): The MPA Catalogue of Printed Music.
